So... what a crazy last two weeks. As some of you know, I have not been happy at my school that I was teaching at. I had lots of meaningful conversations with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) the_suit_case and mujun about it. Well someone came to me and offered me a job setting up and then leading a Preschool department at a brand new school. Three of my past co-workers, that I love, were already working there and suggested me. When I went in for the "interview", the owner said he didn't have any questions to ask me and that he was told he had to hire me. I had to accept! I finally gave my two weeks, right before the new school year started here. My last day was supposed to be last Friday. However, my grandmother's cancer returned at an alarming rate and I had to miss a lot of work those last two weeks. She passed away Friday, sixteen years to the date of my other grandmother's death. It has been one hell of a weekend, trying to wrap things up with her and the schools. Her funeral was Tuesday, the first day of school. I felt bad for not being there, but my family is more important, and thankfully my new boss was really cool about the whole matter. I started today... *looks at watch* yesterday. OMG I have a lot of work cut out for me this year. But I did have a nice surprise when I came home this afternoon.
the_suit_case made me a birthday cake! YAY!!! I have to wait till Saturday, when we are going to the best Japanese steak house in Florida, to get my present!
Ok I have to go to bed now! Did I mention that this school is an extra twenty minute drive in the morning. It's very dark in my house at six in the morning. *cringes*

Shige's ugly hair - Shige's ugly hair and I have a love/hate relationship. When he first changes it I automatically hate it, then I grow to love it. Well not his blonde hair, I will never love that. But at least it isn't as bad as Yamapi's ugly hair. *cringe*

bitch - The term that the_suit_case and I use the most to express our affection for each other. The best example that comes to mind is when she came to my work for a "new school year" cleaning day. I ordered her to do something and she endearingly called me a "bitch" right in front of my co-teacher. Luna froze and I didn't react at all. My co-teacher said she figured she called me that all the time and I was used to it, so she didn't think it was that big a deal. Luna was mortified. That was also the day she kept going "MOTHER... Teresa!"

Wedding = FINALLY OVER
Me = DEAD
I am so tired. Someone decided after running around like chickens with our heads cut off for a week (a year), going to bed at 11:30pm, getting up at 4:30am, having a gigantic wedding outside (I got sun-burnt with sunscreen on) and a wild reception that we should all go out and have a huge Italian dinner. The restaurant was candle lite with soft music. Me? I fell asleep at the table between the soup and the salad. They started kicking me and slamming things down loudly to wake me up. But at least I wasn't the only one. The bride and my other best friend were in the same boat. |

Guys OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I am trying to get to Denver. I was supposed to be there by 11:45 this morning, however do to my idiot co-workers and their incompetence, I may make it by 7:20 tonight.
For the last two or three months at work I have been treated as the red-headed stepchild by my director (principal)and the owner of the school. Why? Don't know. They are "helping me lighten my load" by making me now teach a younger class. Though they say it is not, I pretty much got demoted. Nobody else in the school knows why and are just as pissed about it as I am. All but the person taking over my place and her minion that is. They have been royal bitches to me about the classroom switch. They have been complaining that I won't have my old classroom cleaned and ready for them like they had theirs ready for me. As I told my "darling" directer, I would clean it this past weekend like the rest of the school was doing. Well when I got there I saw that they had not cleaned anything, which left me with two classrooms to strip down and clean for summer. I was there all weekend and didn't have time to pack for my trip till 6:00 this morning. After finally getting though security, I got to my flight in time to see my plane go down the runway. I had to wait three hours to finally get a flight, but not to Denver or even Nashville to connect through. I'm in Houston. The lovely lady at Tampa International Airport told me that I had a set on a plane to leave only thirty minutes after I got here. Only I didn't. So now I am sitting here for another five hours until the next none stop flight into Denver. But that is not guaranteed this flight either. I'm on stand by. If I get there tonight I still have to drive an hour and a half to get to Colorado Springs, if I can still get my rental car. Guys I just won't to get there. I want to see my best friends and get this damn wedding out of the way.
For now I am watching lots of Arashi clips and That Fool. Also there is a really cute Asian guy across from me. I'm taking that as a good sign.
*Edit* I would be very thankful if anyone would like to cheer me up by writing me fic. Nishikato, Shige/Nocchi or anyone really.

Hello again my dear flist. I have returned from falling of the edge of the planet. I have only really talked to three... maybe four of you in like two months, so most of you don't know what has been going on with me. Back in May I became the Lead Teacher of the Preschool of my school. My work load quadrupled and I now have little to no free time. The best part is I still haven't been given a raise and am now being told that there is no difference between a regular teacher and lead. "Lead Teacher is only a title." BULL SHIT!!!!! I feel so ahguoiwahruqieh! The only reason I have time to post now is because I have worked myself into passing out. So they had to send me home. This sounds so nice... I get to sleep. NO! My damn neighbors have been blaring old school Spanish music so loud that I can hear it all the way on the other side of the apartment! So no sleep... I'll just check my flist and talk to my friends online... except AIM won't work and no one has updated their LJs today. WAAAAAHHH!
OK! Enough with the whining let's get to the fun stuff...
